Crunch Time

We have just under 13 days until the race.  I hope everyone is as excited as we are.  It looks like we have plans to eat at La Cabana around noon on race day.  We are reserving the back room so waiting for a table shouldn't be an issue.  There is a lot of information about the race on the jog-inc website for those who did not receive an email from the organizers.  It will make it easier on us if we pick up our race packets on Friday night instead of Saturday morning.  Take a look at the parking information on the website and lets see if we can come to a consensus on where to park.  See you all soon.

    Dad and I have been preparing by trying to get in a minimum of 2 miles a day. We increase our distance a little more each day.

    I received the informative email concerning the details of parking as well. I agree that we should pick up the packets on Friday night and have a plan for parking. Otherwise, it could turn out to be crazy. Maybe we should try and meet on the St. James side and follow each other to wherever we are going to park (hopefully). That way, regardless of where we end up, we will all still be together.

    Also, that day in Cuba, is their citywide yard sale. There will be tons of people and vehicles so I would prefer to stay together as much as possible or we may not see each other until noon at La Cabana! I don't want to miss some of our team members receive their awards at 11!

    Oh well, that's just my two cents. Let us know what everyone wants to do and that will be fine. Looking forward to it and hoping for great weather.
